Federal Court Hands Down Judgement in Fairview Combustible Cladding Case
Federal Court of Australia’s judgment this morning in The Owners – Strata Plan No 91086 v Fairview Architectural Pty Ltd (No 3) [2023] FCA 814 (the Vitrabond Class Action).
In short, the Court ordered that one of Fairview’s product liability insurers, AAI Limited trading as Vero Insurance be joined to the Vitrabond Class Action.
This decision has important implications in the Vitrabond Class Action against Fairview Architectural.  By way of reminder, the Vitrabond Class Action concerns Vitrabond PE and Vitrabond FR aluminium cladding.
